What Camel does
Every small text job — reformat, reuse, recall, rewrite — handled where you already are.
Write an instruction once — fix grammar, summarize, draft a reply — and reuse it on any copied text. Runs on-device with Apple Intelligence.
How AI Actions workYour recent copies stay one keystroke away. Search everything you copied earlier and paste it again without hunting for the source.
Keep boilerplate, commands, replies, and config values in folders with your own titles — and find them by search.
Format JSON, convert case, decode JWTs, hash strings, convert timestamps, generate UUIDs — over 50 transformations.
See the full listCollect several copied values in a row, pick a separator, and paste the whole set in the order you captured it.
Assign a keyboard shortcut to the menu, history, any tool, snippet, or AI action. Works from any app, with no extra permissions.
Watch it work
Unedited recordings from a Mac, at the speed they actually run. Every one of them is the same loop: copy something in the app you are already in, run an action from the menu bar, paste the result back.
No window to arrange, no file to save, no tab to find again afterwards. The menu opens over whatever you were doing and closes when it is done.
The ticket says customer billing address. The Swift file wants customerBillingAddress. That gap is a few seconds of careful typing, several times a day, and it is where typos come from.
Camel splits the phrase on spaces, hyphens, underscores and existing case boundaries, so it does not matter whether you copied a sentence, a column name or an identifier somebody else wrote. The converted value replaces the clipboard, which is why this works the same in Xcode, a terminal, a browser or a chat window.
This is what an incident update actually looks like at the moment you write it: a missing word, three typos, a sentence that never quite lands. Fix Grammar repairs it in one pass and leaves the facts alone — 14:00 to 15:30 stays 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, not “this afternoon”.
A Custom AI Action is one instruction you write once and reuse forever. Camel ships templates for fixing grammar, summarizing, drafting replies and reformatting, and you can edit any of them into the thing you actually do all day.
Pasting a production JWT into an online debugger is the fastest way to turn a debugging session into a rotation task. The token is a credential; the moment it lands in someone else’s text box, you have to treat it as leaked.
Camel decodes the header and payload locally, so you can read sub, exp and the custom claims, confirm which environment issued the thing, and get on with the bug. It reads the token rather than verifying it — the signature stays the job of the service holding the key.

How it works
A message, an API response, an identifier, a list, a timestamp.
From the menu bar, or instantly with your own keyboard shortcut.
It is already back on your clipboard, ready for the app you were in.
Private by design
Camel has no account and no sync service. Clipboard text is processed locally, and AI actions run through Apple Intelligence on-device — not through Camel servers or a third-party AI API.
